PortableApps.com Website Maintenance For 1 to 2 Hours Tonight At 9pm New York Time

The PortableApps.com website will be offline tonight, March 9th, 2015, beginning at approximately 9pm New York time. We will be performing some scheduled maintenance and site upgrades. It is estimated that the work will take 1 to 2 hours but may take longer if any issues not encountered in our test work are encountered.

Our download infrastructure, web/file server, content delivery network, email, source code management, and other services will remain running. All downloads of new and upgraded apps via the PortableApps.com Platform will continue to work during the upgrade process. New downloads and installs of the PortableApps.com Platform will also work from the site. Our web-based Portable App Directory, forums, web-based support chat and main website will be inaccessible during the maintenance window.

This scheduled maintenance was originally planned for last week but was delayed due to additional maintenance being performed. Last week's maintenance applying Xen security patches to our infrastructure and rebooting our server instances resulted in just a few minutes of site inaccessibility. Tonight will be the first time PortableApps.com's infrastructure is partially offline for scheduled maintenance of over 5 minutes in a number of years.
