PDF-XChange Viewer Portable 2.5.316.1 has been released by PortableApps.com. PDF-XChange Viewer is a lightweight PDF viewer with basic editing and OCR functionality. It's packaged as a portable app so you download on the go and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. It's released as freeware for personal and business use.

Hello John,

First of all thanks for the great job.

I've seen on tracker software website that the free viewer is discontinued. I've understood you have a kind of agreement with them to offer a portable version. I wanted to know if pdf-Xchange Editor will replace the viewer from now on?

The app is still being updated. That message has been on there for about a year to try to get people to download Editor which has paid features that are locked out until you buy a license.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Ok. Thanks for the information. That's what I've seen but as they revamped their site it was not so obvious.
So I can keep on using viewer as I have all I need with it.
