Existing Users
Existing users using the PortableApps.com Platform will automatically be upgraded from the old version to the new one.
Non-platform users should manually install alongside your existing install and it will be converted automatically. For example, if your old install was at X:\PortableApps\SkypePortable, select to install sPortable to X:\PortableApps\sPortable. It will copy your settings and data.
Your old install will be backed up to the sPortable\Data\SkypePortableBackup directory just in case anything goes wrong. If the new version works for you as expected, you can delete this directory to free up space.

Works The Same
The new app will work just the same as the old one. It was changed due to licensing and trademark policy reasons much the same as when Java Portable was renamed to jPortable after Oracle bought Sun Microsystems.
