A new version of Google Chrome Portable Stable has been released. Google Chrome Portable is a web browser that runs web pages and applications quickly. The latest Beta and Dev builds are also available. It's packaged as a portable app, so you can take your browsing experience with you and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. It's partially open source freeware for personal and business use.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

For about a week it looks like we were signing SHA2 only. The build setup has been fixed. As this only affects XP and Vista users - and those barely work with signed EXEs anyway - we won't be re-releasing this set.

My computer is running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
I installed Chrome(Portableapps) on the Platform, but it's a 32-bit browser.
Why? No updates are now available for the 32-bit Chrome browser. Sad

Chrome isn't a dual mode app, so it only has one. If you want 64-bit, you can install it: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/google-chrome-portable-64

The 32-bit and 64-bit versions are both current and Google maintains both. 32-bit isn't going anywhere as Microsoft's new high-end tablets don't support 64-bit standard Windows apps, only 32-bit.
