A new version of TreeSize Free Portable has been released. TreeSize Free lets you scan directory size and find the space hogs to free up space on your drive. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. TreeSize Free Portable is freeware for business and personal use.

Features

ScreenshotEvery hard disk is too small if you just wait long enough. TreeSize Free tells you where precious disk space has gone. TreeSize Free shows you the size of and drive or folder, including its subfolders. Expand folders in an Explorer-like fashion and see the size of every subfolder. All results can also be drilled down to the file level. Scanning operations run in a thread, so you can already see results while TreeSize Free is working. The disk space tool now also includes the main feature of our discontinued freeware NTFSRatio: TreeSize Free can display the NTFS compression rate and apply the NTFS compression on directory branches.

Note that TreeSize Free will not work on network drives. Purchasing TreeSize Personal or Professional will enable this functionality.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

TreeSize Free Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.
