A new version of UUID-GUID Generator Portable has been released. UUID-GUID Generator is a lightweight, easy to use unique identifier generator. You can generate identifiers with or without braces and quickly copy them to the clipboard for use in software projects. This version adds options for CAPS and dashes and updates to the latest PortableApps.com Format and Installer. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Features

UUID-GUID Generator Portable lets you easily and quickly generate unique identifiers (UUID, GUID), with or without braces, and copy them to the clipboard for use in your software projects. It will remember your braces preference. The full Delphi source code is included.

App Shortcuts: ALT-G to generate a new UUID/GUID. ALT-B to turn braces on and off. ALT-D to turn dashes on and off. ALT-P to turn CAPS on and off. And CTRL-C or ALT-C to copy to clipboard.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

UUID-GUID Generator Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings.
