A new version of GPG Plugin Portable has been released. GnuPG is a complete and free implementation of the OpenPGP standard allowing you to encrypt and sign your data and communications. It is an add-on used by other portable apps like older versions of Thunderbird Portable and SeaMonkey Portable. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

Features

GnuPG allows to encrypt and sign your data and communication, features a versatile key management system as well as access modules for all kinds of public key directories. Both Thunderbird Portable and SeaMonkey Portable will utilize GPG Plugin Portable automatically from the CommonFiles directory. It can also be installed directly to ThunderbirdPortable\App\gpg and SeaMonkeyPortable\App\gpg

GPG Plugin Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Note that as an add-on, no GPG Plugin Portable icon will appear in the PortableApps.com Platform's list of available apps.

This release drops support for 32-bit and Windows XP. A legacy 32-bit package is available in the PortableApps.com Platform App Store as well as from the app homepage: https://portableapps.com/apps/security/gpg-plugin-portable#download_details

The exe does run on Vista 64-bit and later, but I'm unsure if it has all functionality. If you're using a legacy OS like Vista, 7, or 8, please let me know if it works for you properly in whatever config you're using.
