This release updates Iron to the latest version. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Iron is packaged for portable use with permission from SRWare.

It's the latest Mozilla Thunderbird email client from the older 3.1.x branch bundled with a PortableApps.com launcher as a portable app. It is primarily intended for extension testers. All users are encouraged to upgrade to the current Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition 10 release. This release will install alongside a current Thunderbird Portable install in a ThunderbirdPortableLegacy31 directory by default, though it can also be used to upgrade an existing ThunderbirdPortable installation. This release also adds support for the new-style Java plugin. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.
