It would seem to be working again.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

John, will the automatic update allow/honor "remove extra languages" yet? As in, I manually installed originally so I could remove them & have been doing manual updates since to preserve that. Given the incremental update capability on the last update, I wondered if I could use auto-update through the platform without getting all those extra lnguages installed...

What's the verdict? Thanks!

I install Portable version, but it ask me close other LO. Why? And it's not portable installation. I think it's error.

That means that soffice.exe is running somewhere on the PC. Often, this is because the QuickStarter is running in the system tray for either LibreOffice or OpenOffice. Occasionally, it happens when another Windows account is also logged in and running the quickstarter or the app itself.
