It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. Portablization Issue Fixed
If you installed a fresh copy of BYOND after the base app removed its ability to create its own settings directory, your BYOND settings were saved to your local machine's Documents directory in a BYOND directory. The installer will attempt to detect this situation, automatically copy them in, and notify you that you may delete the local settings if you don't use BYOND locally. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
