QOwnNotes the a plain-text file markdown note taking application that optionally works together with the notes application of ownCloud or Nextcloud. You own your own notes stored as plain-text files on device. Sync your notes over devices (desktop & mobile) with your ownCloud or Nextcloud sync client. Use ownCloud Notes to edit your notes in the web. You are able to write down your thoughts with QOwnNotes and edit or search for them later from your mobile device (like with CloudNotes) or the ownCloud / Nextcloud web-services.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
QOwnNotes Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.
