If you are a software developer and you have created a PortableApp, LimeWire Portable for example, and have released a stable version, please post a reply to this thread so that the links are in one place. Please be sure that the PortableApp is not in beta. Thanks!

Jooleem Portable (Development Test 1)

Submitted by Jacob Mastel on February 13, 2008 - 7:35pm

Jooleem is a fun puzzle game great for waisting some extra time you've got. I think this would make a great addition to our list of games. The original program can be found on Sourceforge. The portable version can be downloaded from here. Tell me what you think!

Edit:Okay I figured out how to do the regular installer can it's now updated to .paf

And I must make a huge thank you to Patrick Patience for being such a huge help in helping me figure this out.

GnuPG Portable 1.4.10 Dev Test 14

Submitted by mstinaff on February 13, 2008 - 11:59am

Application: GnuPG
Category: privacy/security
Description: GnuPG is "the GNU project's complete and free implementation of the OpenPGP standard as defined by RFC4880."
GnuPG (aka gpg) is a command line application that is often used in conjunction with a third party graphical front end to encrypt/decrypt or sign/verify files or emails. GnuPG is not inherently portable as it broadcasts its existence to these third party apps via registry keys and environment variables.

CDex Portable 1.7 Dev Test 4 [Testers Needed]

Submitted by jeffm on February 13, 2008 - 1:40am

What's CDex?
CDex can extract the data directly (digital) from an Audio CD, which is generally called a CD Ripper or a CDDA utility. The resulting audio file can be a plain WAV file (useful for making compilation audio CDs) or the ripped audio data can be compressed using an audio encoder. Many encoders are supported, to name a few:

Lame MP3 encoder
Internal MP2 encoder
APE lossles audio format
Ogg Vorbis encoder
The Windows MP3 encoder (Fraunhofer MP3 encoder)
NTT VQF encoder
FAAC encoder
Windows WMA8 encoder

I will do a portable version of Defraggler and CCleaner in a day or two if this one goes smoothly. Please feel free to yell at me if I'm doing anything wrong or if you know of a better way to do something (I'm new and stupied :P).
