Hello everybody, I am new here, so it's possible You already have heard this question dozens of times, but at least You could send me to the right zone of the forum or just answer here. I downloaded lots of "paf" applications, but I would like to try and convert some freeware programs downloaded from the web. I tried to see how to do on the website, but I couldn't find it.Where is it, or how to? Another question, what should I do to make my USB pendrive boot the main program just after Windows has opened? I dont want to use all portable apps (except apps which needs connection: Iron, Firefox, Skype, uTorrent...) to use my internet connection. Because some of them are checking for updates automatically, some of them sends datas to their servers (for statistic), some of them redownload their advertisement banners and for some security reasons.

On Windows 7 (I did not test for older versions of Windows) if you have not disabled Windows default Firewall you can block any app you want with this command:

- PortableApps.com Platform
- JauntePE
- Run95

And guess what came out? A platform that automatically portabilizes any application without modifying Win registry or local Hard Disk, only your pendrive.

Work has blocked not only Portableapps but sourceforge as well. so i have been on there and at home there is a DNS routing issue to portableapps.com. this makes me very sad (╥﹏╥).

I will be around in the chat a bit more often. for some reason the irc channel no longer lets me auto join and its taken me this long to realise it. Took a finding of an OliverK and the crazy need to poke some ol' peers to remind me to manualy join.(*・)σσσ(*゜Д゜*) ~ No Poking the Gizmobot!!!!!

I am using Peazip and 7zip.

I need a file format which has these features:

-File name and encription
-Possible to add new files different than root directory

*7z does not support the second feature which I need: http://code.google.com/p/peazip/issues/detail?id=59

*Rar support all of them but rar compressions does not supporting by peazip or 7zip.

*Zip format supports the second feature but does not support the first.

Changing options like directory folder appear as changed but has no effect. Fx. changing download folder location will when opening uTorrent show new location, but when actually downloading, it will still write to old location.

And there's an annoying announcement about uTorrent on portable device on every run of program
