Is there a free portable app that can be used to download the audio from Youtube videos? Thank you.
I want to modify the code for the launcher and contribute my mod back to the community. I can't find any documentation for the code. Am I looking in the wrong place? I looked at github and I looked in the development section of the portable apps website. Yes I can read the code but that would take a while.
Is there a portableapps version of DropBox, OneDrive or other?
I run portable apps from within an encrypted VeraCrypt container on my work computer. I'd like to sync the contents of my PortableApps Documents folder without installing or logging in to a cloud service outside of the encrypted container.
Searching for portableapps cloud results in instructions how to run portable apps from a cloud service, so I'm aware that what I'm looking for may be backwards.
Thanks
It appears that a bad version was posted. When I run it, the screen is full of small square boxes instead of letters. Problem occurs on two different Windows 10 computers.
I wanted to install Clipmate on a USB drive thinking that I could have a completely different database than the clipmate on my PC. IN the instructions it said to installed portable apps before installing the usb version of clipmate.
What I wanted clipmate to do isn't working so I want to uninstall it and since I only used portable apps to install the ortable clipmate I would like to uninstall each on the usb drive.
Is it as easy as deleting the things on the USb drive that were added or is there a clean uninstall process for both portable apps and portable clipmate?
TextFX.dll is a 32-bit Notepad++ plugin which hasn't been updated for donkey's years but is still very useful with unique features. It's not compatible with 64-bit Notepad++.
Is there a way of forcing PortableApps to use the 32-bit version? I have seen that this can be done for Firefox, but no mention of Notepad++.
Please don't ask me to find alternative solutions, there's pages of bickering about that on the Notepad++ forums!
many thanks
Hi John, i must report that regarding the WISE portables you have here.
These programs can ruin a windows system when used by newbies etc.
The Registry cleaner system tune up can destroy a win system within seconds.
Could you please do a review and maybe remove all WISE programs for your site.
Also newbies and users without proper firewall protection are at risk with these programs from spyware.
WISE are a CHINA based and i seriously recomend you remove ALL the WISE portables from your downloads.
thanks and regards
How can I download offline apps, not an installer, just a ZIP or whatever, I don't care about updates and whatever.
I do not want an online installer that downloads the app, that defeats the purpose.
I just want the offline pure offline app that runs offline.
I want to get around this, I don't like it: "This is an online installer that will download Firefox during setup".
Offline you, I mean thank you.
Good morning
I would like to use 64 bit version notepad++.
Is there a portable package ?
Thank you
I've done a major update to the sPortable Dev Test and it should be ready (or close to ready) for release. I could use a few folks testing it and reporting back. Thanks!
