It would be great to have a portable backup and restore program. This way users could back up either their data or a full image of their hard drive and restore to a new hard drive or their original hard drive. It would need to create a bootable media for restore, and use a Windows PE or Linux boot engine. I've heard that their are some useful free apps for doing this. The app plus a user friendly tutorial would likely be a big hit.

Does anyone know if the GOG Galaxy client could be installed and operated as a portable app?

Would you please add a "Delete Page" / "Add Page" feature to Writer? I find it frustrating that I cannot delete unwanted blank pages, especially after creating tables or typing extra lines of text that extend almost to the margin at the bottom of the page. I have to either modify the table on the current page or delete several lines of type. This feature is available in Impress and Draw, and the flexibility is very much appreciated. A couple of times, after I have converted documents to PDF, the unwanted pages would be sent to the printer as well.

Just heard about this program through Gizmo's site. Movie Rotator, http://www.movierotator.com/index.html , allows movies that were created sideways, upside down, etc. to be rotated and resaved. It's Open Source, Apache 2 license, and free. The author does ask for donations.

It would be a good addition to the PA family.

I would like to see Treeline http://www.treeline.bellz.org/ added to the PortableApps collection. It has much more functionality than other outliners (such as CherryTree - which is also great) as fields in the nodes can be set up to allow it to function as a portable database. It can run portably already and is open source, but it would be good to have it packaged as a PAF so it can be integrated into the portableapps menu.

I was looking at an old themes topic [most of the links in it are dead, ], and it got me thinking:

Would it be possible to have The menu show up in either Win10 or WinXP/98 style, without having to theme the menu [in essence, to make it "themeless" in style]?
