The only thing missing from the list of applications that I use occasionally is a bittorrent client. I'd suggest Deluge, as it's both full-featured, lightweight, and open source.

EDIT: Oh hey, look, it's in the test release section. Never mind.

I have been using XBMC media center for a while on my computer which is hooked up to my entertainment system, I currently have all of my media on an external hard drive though. It would be coold to install XBMC so that I could set everything up on this external drive.

Hi, is there any portable player to play .rm, .rmbv extemsion?
Currently there's portable VLC available but still, unable to play .rm or .rmbv extension.
Please recommend.

Perhaps a portable version of VMWare, Microsoft Virtual Machine, or some other PC/Mac/Linux emulator? That would be awesome, or how about a bootable OS for the USB drive. *stick in drive, reboot, Linux with basic web browser/word processor/etc.*

Needed for many websites and streaming audio/video.

Qliner hotkeys is an application that allows you to set keys to hotkeys, e.g. if I hit the windows key and a it could open up internet explorer or whatever.

Here is what I thought was a pretty cool idea: perhaps be able to have the hotkeys with you, so like if you hit winkey and W it will open up windirstat portable from your flash drive.

I don't even know if it can be done, but if it can it would be awesome.
