Submitted by dodge245@gmail.com on March 15, 2011 - 7:03am

Hi all this is my first post here, i would like to request a portable version of PicAxe(freeware) to be created.

The Program is used within education and would be handy in a portable enviroment running from a network share.

the site is: http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/picaxe/

i have tried to create a portable version myself but have recieved the following errors:

warning: !include: could not find: "C:\Program Files\Programming Editor\Other\Source\PortableApps.comLauncherCustom.nsh" (Segments.nsh:122)

QEMU-Puppy

Look at what this guy made: http://www.erikveen.dds.nl/qemupuppy/

He says, "The tricky part is trying to have the OS on your USB memory stick to be able to boot both natively and in a virtual machine. But it can be done. And that's what makes QEMU-Puppy unique."

I needed that for my operating systems course and I came up with these instructions to get started programming in a linux environment quickly:

1. Download it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/qemupuppy/files/QEMU-Puppy/QEMU-Puppy%20...

Very simple Graph Paper printing application - prints a wide variety of graph papers - music paper etc. Original author and website seem to have long since disappeared. I use it regularly for my school kids

Original location: http://perso.easynet.fr/~philimar/ although this domain no longer loads
Its available here:- http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/181771/graphpap-zip-september-25-2007-8-...

or I keep a zip file on my website here:-

Winmac Portable?

Submitted by Googie2149 on March 11, 2011 - 2:45pm

Winmac (http://winmac.emuunlim.com/) is a program that gives Windows users a MacOS like menu bar. I would basically like to see it go portable. I tried by simply install it to my flash drive, but it unloaded some files to C:WINDOWS\system32\. Hopefully my school doesn't notice. I'm not sure if it is open source, but I or someone else could send them an email to ask for either a portable version or he source, or at the very least see if they respond.

Edit: On a side note, what happened to he portable Mini vMac?

Hi Some people asks for iTunes portable but you can't made it because you are not allowed to distribute it. but maybe you can create a launcher that make possible to use it from any computer! So all that you need is to copy the program folder form the pc to the usb pendrive...what do you think???
