Greetings,
I seen the request for PhotoShop, ehhhhhh, it's alright. I have a PhotoShop 8 or CS running on my USB stick. It get's me by. I would however like to request PhotoImpact 10 or 11 for USB stick.
I have been using PhotoImpact for about 12 years now, and believe me, although there is a steep learning curve, however wonderful/powerful you may think PhotoShop is, PhotoImpact is 10 times as wonderful/powerful.
If someone could point me toward how to make a program run on USB sticks, I would be happy to learn myself, and do the job. I am a quick learner, if there is a Tut out there somewhere.

It would be very useful on the go. Will a msi extractor work?
Just for all those Mac lovers:
We need a portable Safari.

Then no one can complain about no cross-platform FF.
Anyone know how to do it, or if it needs to be done?
THE GAME AGE OF EMPIRES II IS PORTABLE
One week ago, I planed my vacations with my family and my 9 years old son asks to me to carry with us his favorite game: Microsoft’s AGE OF EMPIRES II. So I copy the Folder “age of empires II” to my 1 GB USB drive (from “Microsoft games” folder).
So, I open the “empires2.exe” program and… IT WORKS perfectly fine and well in any computer. This game is very heavy (180 MB) but is a very fine and complete strategy game.
I’m a beginner in portability stuff but portability for me means that the programs work well from a USB drive (I do not understand or care what “leave registry” is in hard disc). So, if works, then is portable!!!
I travel with several photos in this format and I dream to have it portable.
Thanks
Fulvio
si.Mail is an open source client written in Delphi.
It was made completely aware of running of USB stick in lates versions. The only thing that gets written to host sytem are temp files in Temp folder, but that's cleaned after application is shutdown.
Initial size of app and it's libraries is 5MiB, but it can be brougt down by 900KiB, if you remove spellchecker dict folder + siMailSpell.dll.
# Html message view,

The rather fine calendar at Rainlendar can be installed as a portable app without modifying the binary at all. See

I'd like to suggest that this fine application be referenced or linked from this site, along with these notes, because it deserves to be more widely used.
I'd love to see this one become a portableapp!
Here is the link to the orginal app
