Portable App Development

I tried creating a portable app following the instructions here: https://portableapps.com/node/14939
However, I keep getting error messages. Someone suggested that it is because I did not create a launcher and a help file in the folder structure. Now, I thought that
compiling the script would create the launcher. I am sorry for being rather ignorant about this, but I would like to learn how to create portables. Is someone willing to walk me through the process a little?
I would be happy to communicate via email, rather than clogging up the forum with dumb questions.

I'm using USB eTokens (to carry my digital certificates for authentication) with firefox. For the eToken to work, we need to import the corresponding PKCS#11 module in Options -> Security Devices -> Load. In my case this will be the Aladdin driver's module.

I tried to import the same in portable firefox installed in another USB drive (not in the eToken). It is working fine. I need to insert both the USB drive (with Portable Firefox) and eToken (with digital certificate).

I'm having trouble with saving the appdata for IMVU, the way i currently handle it seems to only work on Windows Vista, when i tested it on an XP with a local install of IMVU it deleted the host appdata and didn't copy the one it saved in the Data directory.

I read all the documentation, installed nsis, created the directory structure, having an app that can run without installation, editted the "PortableApps.comInstallerConfig.nsh", did right mouse button on the nsi project file and it created the AppNamePortable.paf.exe file for me. That went all fine. After the install of AppNamePortable.paf.exe on the usb stick there's no launcher at all. How can i create the program launcher? The one that's need to be placed with the dir's Apps, Data, Other. Or do in need to create the launcher myself for ex. in C#.

I found Tux Racer on the Red Hat Linux I found in the basement and it was an awesome app.

So I did a wikipedia search and found this.

Well, those two apps have worked nicely with PortableApps, but for some reason... with my AkelPadPortable.exe Launcher, all it does is launch AkelPad, but doesn't actually open the file in AkelPad.exe

What's different from my launcher and everyone elses?

I am trying to make an ObjectDock Portable Launcher and I really need help with the ObjectDockPortable.nsi and the other stuff in the Source folder. I have no idea what to put where. This is what I have done.

What I have done so far...

This folder includes the Object Dock Portable folder, the HTML file of the registry changes taken by Regshot, the files found in %USERNAME%\AppData\Local and %USERNAME%\Documents.

Can someone say to me exact date when Linux is gonna be lunched.
