I have downloaded this PortableApps.comLauncher and this nsisUnicode thing
and i have a app which i am trying to make it portable
i have downloaded a template and did follow the help as far as possible

now i had some problems
some are more or less solved and some not and maybe more problems will come :)) (who knows?)

first there was a problem between the PortableApps.comLauncherGenerator and the NSIS thing
i placed the PortableApps.comLauncherGenerator in a folder and the portableNSISunicode in the same folder

I want try to portabilize "Age of Empires II" (and his expansion), for my personal use only. I know that it may need admin rights to write some keys in registry, but I don't care about it. The problem is that the game install some fonts on system and I don't know if it's possible to portabilize windows fonts.
Is that possible using PortableApps Launcher?

I am updating a launcher I created with the 1.0 spec. In the interim, both a 2.0 spec and a new version of the appname have been released. I have updated and created a successful launcher including updates to the registry. Now for the part I need help with:

Is there a way to get the PortableApps Launcher to generate a nsi file?

I have an old program I am trying to make portable for myself. Everything is working great, except that for in an ini file, I need to put in the short path (i.e. PROGRA~) instead of the full path.

If the launcher could output a nsi file, I could just add the /SHORT option and re-compile, but I wasn't sure if this was even possible.

My English is not good but I need the source code learning!

What is the most common platform/IDE people develop apps in for PA?

I've been developing my skills in a cross platform IDE called RealStudio. Is this a viable option for PA pursuits?

I wish that someone would make a simple converter that took an existing u3 drive with apps that run on Sandisk and would convert it to work with Portableapps thus the end user would be able to just switch over to this menu system.

We’re an online newspaper based in Sussex UK looking for an app development partner. Ideally we’d like to work with someone who can develop a mobile app for our newspaper. In return we will provide the content (news, features , competitions etc) . Advertising and sponsorship revenue would be shared and perhaps we could explore working together on other collaborations.

I'm working on updating my old AutoHotkey launcher with PAL. I've come to a bit of a roadblock though.

The easiest way I can think of is to store AutoHotkey.ahk (the default script AHK.exe will run) as well as a "ScriptSupport" folder in Data (to store any icons or supporting .ahk files the user might require). AutoHotkey.ahk will be moved to %documents% and the entire directory of ScriptSupport will join it.

JKDefrag portable v. 3.36 was made obsolete long before the release of JKDefrag, or should I say, MyDefrag, v. 4.3.1, on May 21 of this year. As a concerned user of this program, I believe the time has come (and gone, long ago) to update it, especially now that it has been optimized for use on a flash drive.
