False Positives - Some false positive reports occasionally pop up in different antivirus products in conjunction with portable apps. This is partially due to the compression and portablization techniques used and partially due to a failure of some antivirus companies to fully test their virus definition updates before sending them out to users. If you encounter a false positive, please test the file in another antivirus product before reporting the issue to us in the forums to ensure that it's not an error in their software. Several companies make available online scanners for individual files, so you won't even have to install software (virustotal.com, Jotti). You can also use ClamWin Portable. Thanks for your help.

If you have a support question related to application functionality, installation, version inquiries, download issues, virus reports (99.99% of the time it's due to 'free' antivirus programs with bad definitions updates), etc, please see the Support Page. If your issue isn't addressed on the main page or the page specific to the application you have questions about, please post a note in the Forums in the appropriate forum.

Please note that there is no email support. It isn't that we don't like you or that we don't think your support issue is important, it's just that we couldn't possibly support all the millions of people using these apps by email. So, please don't be surprised or offended if you send us a support request anyway (despite what you just read) and don't get a response.
