Zach Thibeau's blogUserbarsSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on November 10, 2010 - 8:15pm
I just read OliverK's blog for the PortableApps.com Userbars and that brought up some good old userbar making days I once had, so I decided to make 1 on my own so I present to you all anyways PChat 2.0 is coming shortly, I would say another 1-2 days before there will be a public tech preview (aka alpha release) PChat 2.0 shaping upSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on September 21, 2010 - 7:38pm
Ok PChat 2.0 I kept on saying it and never gave any real details on it's progress, well this is a progress report, thanks to a friend of mine who is more adept at c++ than I am has been assisting me in creating an entirely new interface that isn't dependent on GTK+ but on WxWidgets, so this means 1) PChat will still be cross platformable and 2) we will get a more native look for each operating system it's ported too. PChat 1.0.4 shaping up to be a good releaseSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on April 18, 2010 - 8:24am
howdy all, ok normally for the windows release I would be using libwimp for my theme of choice on PChat but since it’s horribly broken in the new release of gtk 2.20, I’ve decided to use a different theme, so I’ve searched and searched and searched some more, and then I found murrine so I’ve compiled the engine against gtk 2.20 and used the gtrc file from Murrine-Gray and here is the end result Bug fixes, Patches, New Feature requests! Oh My!Submitted by Zach Thibeau on March 9, 2010 - 11:23am
First of all I would like to say Hi to all you pappsians out there, now thats out of the way, I'm going to talk about PChat some more (please note this blog post will also be mirrored on the PChat website itself too, aka the killing of 2 birds with 1 stone). Direction of PChatSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on March 5, 2010 - 2:09pm
howdy guys, Just a general question, as you people are the end users of PChat, in which direction would you like to see PChat go in, like what features would, you the users, would like to see in future releases if possible. I for one am going to try and see about getting dcc fixed so that when it's used dcc actually works and also try and get a proper working tray. Anyways let me know what you would like to see done in PChat and I'll do what I can leave of absenceSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on December 12, 2009 - 6:56am
hey guys, just to let you all know, due to some circumstances I'm cutting my self off from the internet just for a little bit, I just have some personal issues that I have to fix and they can't fixed until I cut myself off of the internet, don't worry it's nothing serious but it's serious enough to affect my walk with God as a Christian. New ProjectsSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on February 6, 2009 - 12:00pm
howdy all, Just want y'all to know that I am going to be working on more releases of apps to come like NSISPortable and another release of DVDStylerPortable too. For DVDStylerPortable, I finally got around to fixing a small empty folder left behind in the appdata folder. NSISPortable is a project I took on from the other Zach on the team with the surname of Hudock. This is going to pre-release as soon as I package it up. Windows WoesSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on November 16, 2008 - 11:31am
Ok guys I know I promised a bug fix release of DVDStyler Portable but due to windows giving the Blue screen of death on boot up I had to install linux, Now because I am on linux I can still do releases as with the help of wine I can do my work more over I do have access to VirtualBox so I can emulate Windows xp/Vista with no problems. So please be patient and I'll get it done asap WOWSubmitted by Zach Thibeau on November 14, 2008 - 1:28pm
