How to Import settings from previous version
Hello everybody!
How can I import settings, mails, address books and filters from Thunderbird 2.0.0.23?
The menu item (Tools -> Import...) does not show the previous version.
Thanks in advance,
Jeann
This is a beta release, and
This is a beta release, and it's not recommended. What you can do is copy your whole Data folder from your current ThunderbirdPortable folder into the new ThunderbirdPortableTest.
So you'd copy X:\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable\Data to X:\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortableTest\Data (where is your current drive letter). And overwrite the Data folder if prompted.
Beta releases...
Why is this Beta release-able and the Audacity Beta not?
?
Any reason it's asking to make itself the default mail client on first startup? Beta 3 had this problem as well. What's really odd is that the "Ask on startup" checkbox is unchecked when the prompt comes up and the same checkbox is also unchecked in the preferences. I'm assuming this is a bug in the TB beta itself?
