Skype Portable 5.1.0.112 has been released. Skype lets you connect to others via instant message, audio conferencing and video phone. It can also call regular phone lines from anywhere in the world. This release updates Skype to the latest version and has an improved installer. It's packaged as a portable app so you communicate on the go and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. It's released as freeware for personal and business use.
PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 users who already have this app installed, simply click 'Check for Updates' in your PA.c Menu to update to the new version.

No Win2k Support
Skype dropped support for Win2k with Version 5.1.x.x. It would be a good idea to have a permanent link to the last version compatible with Win2k which is 5.0.0.156.
System requirements on
https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/skype_portable
should be updated to reflect that.
