I love SIW, and it's Almost portable normally (just one file/folder left behind IIRC) so it's good to see it completely portablized now Smile

I thought I would give this a look just to compare against Piriform's Speccy and clearly this is in another league! Its basically everything I ever wanted to know about my computer neatly laid out.

What absolutely horrifies me is how poorly certain applications are concealing my passwords! Microsoft Live Messenger you should be ashamed of yourself!

I thought the app looked nice, but McAfee doesn't even allow downloading it (unless I explicitly tell it to).

Downloading and installing other portable apps works just fine.

I know some AV can be overzealous, but judging whether this is the case here or not isn't easy.

I plugged my USB stick into my sister's McAfee-protected PC, and McAfee grabbed SIW and trashed it without my having a chance to intervene. I hadn't even tried to run SIW, it just saw the program and took it. They need to be notified that SIW is safe.

(Note, this was a few years ago. I'm a longtime SIW user -- it's been around for years -- so you can rest assured there is nothing wrong with this program.)

Cheers!

Very good, but I already got it installed from the homepage - same build and all. I don't see any reason to exchange the version from the homepage for this one, apart from the easy update using PA.c, but I might change them around once we get to next update.

Excellent program, good to see it here.
