Shouldn't it be version 5.5.0.113?

Copy n pasted it from the last Skype release and didn't update it.
Error and empty data-file?
After installing there is a empty "data/settings"-file and an error-message if i try to start Skype:

"read" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgeführt werden.
Install Fresh?
Did you try a fresh install or deleting the Data directory (you'll lose your settings) to see if that works?

but how can i get rid of the skype home screen at every start?
You Can't
Skype itself has no way of disabling it. They'll have a way shortly as everyone hates it.
Annoying Home Screen
If you don't want the annoying Skype home screen to popup each time you start Skype then don't install this version.
Install Error
I got an error when i tried to auto update skype. I tried installing it manually and it didn't work either. Now it says the skype exe is gone. It gives me a access forbidden (403) error.

Forbidden Access
That means you're forbidden access from the location you're at. Are you trying to update from behind a corporate firewall?
Note that I just ran the installer and had no issues, so it isn't a problem on Skype's end.
