Comments

I highly recommend Task Coach, and have been using it for years. --And I am just a happy user, not associated with it in any other way. I'm just surprised no one else has taken the time to comment on such a fundamentally useful tool.

Task Coach is a surprisingly feature-rich program for managing project tasks, dates, effort times, budgets, calendars and progress. It lets you easily rearrange tasks and subtasks, and handles an apparently infinite number of subtasks and subitems, so you can see and track everything you need on a project.

It also helps keep track of project-related communications, meeting notes, specs, documentation, etc., by storing notes and attachments with the tasks and allowing you to drag-and-drop emails in as attachments (from user agents such as Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail, Claws Mail).

You can open different "viewer" panes to view tasks by various attributes (such as statistics, timeline, category, effort, calendar) and you can drag and drop and combine the viewers to any layout you want.

There's lots more to it, too much to list here. *The devs on this program are constantly improving it and providing regular update releases.* Fantastic work!

Cheers!
