Juice Portable 2.22 (podcast receiver) Released

Juice Portable 2.22 has been released. Juice is a podcast receiver that will download and manage your podcast subscriptions. This release has an updated launcher and installer and the portable version number now matches the app version number. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Features

Juice allows you to download and manage your various podcast subscriptions. It has a large built-in directory of podcasts (though some are no longer active). You can play a downloaded podcast directly in Windows Media Player.

By default, Juice will save your podcasts to JuicePortable\Data\Downloaded Podcasts. You can alter this directory in the options. It should be noted that while you are downloading and saving files to a USB flash drive, performance of other portable apps will slow.

Juice Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.
