This release fixes an issue with location of storage settings. Users of versions before 4.2.0 will have their original settings used again. Users of 4.2.0 can see the first comment in this post to properly use them. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Settings Moved
Settings in 4.2.0 were accidentally stored in the App directory. Users who upgraded from previous versions would have been met with defaults. This revisions properly uses settings in the Data directory and users of versions prior to 4.2.0 will again see their settings properly.
Anyone who used 4.2.0 only or reconfigured on upgrade, your settings have been archived within KVIrcPortable\Data\Archive. To restore them, explore to KVIrcPortable\Data\settings and delete the Settings and Downloads directories (or move them somewhere else). Then move the Settings and Downloads directories from KVIrcPortable\Data\Archive to KVIrcPortable\Data\settings. Your settings from 4.2.0 will be available within 4.2.0 Rev 2 and later.
