Story Topic:

I've found that both the automatic download over the menu and the separate download of the standalone version does not work correctly. Probably is the installer file defect.

Please check again. It's working properly for me now over both.

This download is not working in PA Update and neither directly from the website, it returns a 404.

They haven't been working for the past month or so...

Kind regards.

It's working here. As are all the others. What server is giving you the 404? In other words, what address ends up in the address bar.

Actually, please post the full address URL in the platform support forum along with your operating system version and 32 vs 64 bit, full install path, any antivirus or firewall running, etc:

This is a news story and bugs on a news story is a difficult thing to track and follow.

That's because that's not a real download URL. If you go to the AndreaMosaic Portable homepage, you'll see that it's, not as the server. And that gets redirected to to serve the file.

Note that if you manually mess with referrers in your browser, all bets are off. We made allowances for blank ones, but fake ones will mess up the redirecter.

I am trying to download with:

PortableApps Updater (not working)

Iron Explorer (no proxy)

curl on windows
curl on linunx
wget on linux

Not working:

I manually added download3. to the URL.

The same happens in 4 different computers: 2 windows, 2 Linux

Unless my ISP is doing so, there is no referrer messing in place.

Using curl I force the referrer and it works after the two Header:Locations you said:

curl -e "" -D - -L -O ""

Right now I can't find why my Windows system messes referrers because it doesn't work with PortableApps Updater either.

I'll keep you updated.
