wxMP3gain Portable 3.7 has been released. wxMP3gain analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume using statistical analysis to determine how loud the file sounds. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

Features

ScreenshotTired of reaching for your volume knob every time your mp3 player changes to a new song? wxMP3gain analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume. wxMP3gain does not just do peak normalization, as many normalizers do. Instead, it does some statistical analysis to determine how loud the file actually sounds to the human ear. Also, the changes wxMP3gain makes are completely lossless. There is no quality lost in the change because the program adjusts the mp3 file directly, without decoding and re-encoding.
