As has been discussed previously, Chrome 50 drops support for Windows XP and Vista as well as Mac OS X versions 10.8 and earlier. On Windows XP, Chrome 50 will encounter an error on startup due to making calls to functions not present in the Windows XP kernel. On Windows Vista, Chrome 50 appears to run in portable mode, but will not be supported and use is not recommended. Users of Windows XP are urged to upgrade to a supported Windows OS. Users unable to upgrade should switch to Firefox.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
