TBP has turned into a CPU hog

I'm not sure what happened; Earlier this week TBP was running fine, but the last day or two it has been such a CPU that I have can't use it. When it is running it is using 90-95% of the CPU. I tried re-installing, but that didn't fix it. I don't remember updating any of my plug-ins recently, so I don't think that is it. Has anyone else see anything like this?

Thanks,

Don

Nevermind

It appears to be a problem with the Yahoo webmail plugin. I guess Yahoo changed something that is causing it to wig out.

My TBP takes up 1 of the 2

My TBP takes up 1 of the 2 processor cores without end. It starts using huge amounts of memory too. Somewhere, when memory is filling, the programm freezes.

Have no idea why. It is sloooooooow too at startup.

Regards,
Kelly

Well in my case...

I had one email with a large image attachment that the WebMail extension could not download, so Thunderbird was just soaking up the CPU cycles. I deleted that email and everything went back to normal.
