I'm not new to the world of portable apps, but I'm having a trouble.
I downloaded GIMP 2.6.1 (if there's a new version, don't remind, I'm on dial-
up), but the installer won't start with a message from Windows saying that the program is too big to put on memory. 7-zip fails to open it.
GIMP_Portable_2.6.1.paf.exe is sized 16.2M (17038232B), was downloaded using a download manager and has no icon. I'm using Avast Antivirus and it gives no alert.
Have you considered checkingthe MD5 sum of the package? Try this to verify that teh package downloaded correctly.
Could you tell use what operating system and how much ram you have? That would help abit
