Edit: I had it set to not check for updates in one release, but decided against it as it notifies a user to check PortableApps.com for a new release (hopefully). BonkEnc has the same feature.
So let me get it straight, you've set this application to check portableapps.com for updates, instead of its own site?

No, what I meant when I said 'notifies a user to check PortableApps.com for an update' is that when the application says there is a new version is a available, /hopefully/ the user will know to check here for an update.

Unless it doesn't autoupdate and break the portability that's ok.
