Avatars won't work correctly. I often lose the ones i chose and neither show up in account' options. Is this a known issue ?

It loses them as the paths are hard-coded. A later version of the launcher will address this.

Could the drive-letter-changing also cause Gaim's nonrecognision of logfiles? (I activated logging when the drive had a certain letter, and it no long reads or writes logfiles, as the drive letter has changed.)
I'll investigate further this week as I work on another version of Portable Gaim.

I have added myself to my contact list, but in ICQ my avatar won't show at all. i tried to log off/on, message me repeatly but won't work either. Avatars are ok with yahoo, aim and msn.
How do I chose ICQ/MSN/YAHOO avatar for my self?
*Gaaaah* found it.. It was the Open button! Not easy to understand.
wouldn't it be easiest to have a variable in the GaimPortable.ini file that points to the avatar via relative paths?
ie (paths are relative to the GaimPortable\Data\settings folder)

is there a way to convert the paths in the xml files to relative? and have them stay that way?
