I just got the update of firefox off the portableapps.com site and when I tried to open firefox after updating, I got the error nss3.dll is not a vallid windows image.

I just checked my Firefox directory; nss3.dll is there. According to its version info, it's the "NSS Base Library", whatever that is. But yeah... all you can do is redownload it--it's probably corrupted. Either that or your Windows installation is borked.
