Hello Boys and Girls.
Are the Addons, Extensions and Themes for Portable FF
the exact same ones as for a Local install ?
OR is there a different website to download ones for Portable ?.

Generally it's just the same plugin but, there might be (as in I've not looked) portable versions of some plugins. Most plugins depend only on Firefox so they aren't affected by it's being portable.
Note: Miro doesn't work portably at current as it actually installs to the machine and adds a plugin to firefox, same goes for java but, if the machine you're using has java on it you can get some functionality (most from my experience) by copying the proper DLLs from regular firefox with java but, only if the machine has java on it.
Lastly, note that some plugins do record info to different locations on the computer by default but, usually not DLLs so, you can just change the directory. For instance, I use iMacros but, when you first install it, it places some files on the C Drive (don't remember exact location) but, if you just change the directory (and copy the files if you want) it works just fine. (though it doesn't auto change drive letters)
Hope that clears things up for you.
I guess I hope at addon.mozilla when looking at the addons etc, it will say it does not work for portable.
What is Miro ?
I can't recall where I have heard of that .
I have flash on my loca, but never tried or noticed anything in FF.
Same with the wmpfirefoxplugin I never insatlled that.
or adobe or any of that.
Even though flash and java are always used, I try to to insatll those.
especially java. I have had so many problems with java over the years.
first off, Java is closed source so it can't be reformatted to a more portable friendly nature however if you copy the java plugins from a local installation of FireFox then it should work, for the most part, with portable firefox so long as the computer you're using has some form of java SE. Miro is a plugin that allows you to watch internet television in FireFox as well as most streams. As I said before though it requires regestrys so it can't really be used portably. Most sites nowadays use Flash and/or Java for just about everything. wmpfirefoxplugin I got because my home library (I'm a college student) doesn't have the proper codecs for some internet video's I had to watch. Since I don't have home internet (and home's the only place I have unrestricted access) I did things the more geeky way. I simply deleted my plugin and extension folders from my local FireFox (on my home system of course) and reinstalled all the plugins that require administrative access (Flash, Java, wmp, and adobe (not sure if I did that one myself, will have to check). Once I installed the files locally (since those also work offline) I accessed the folders and copied them into their FireFox Portable equivalents. If you check the support page for FFP and look where it says Installing Plugins below the simple explanations is a quick explanation of how to do this.
In general the local install of FF is in C:\Program Files\FireFox and the both plugins and extensions folders are under App (I think).
FireFox Portable use X\FireFox Portable\App\FireFox where X is dependent on where you installed FFP. The Plugin and Extension Folders you need are in there.
Also note, that if you have home internet access there may be an easier way.
