As I mentioned in my last blog post I am working on a new progress box for Toucan, so after getting Pre-release 2 out of the door earlier I have done some work on it.

The progress box is probably the part of Toucan I like the least as it currently just outputs text which can be hard to look through when you have copied a lot of files. So for the redesign one of the major priorities is to made it easier to use and to find errors.

You can see an initial screenshot of the new progress box here on the left, with the old progress box to the right. You will also notice that I hope to put a progress bar at the top to make it easier to see how your job is going. The aim is to make all of the headings sortable so you could easily bring all of the failed copies to the top, for example.

So what do you think, I would love any suggestions!

Thanks

Steve

Your idea looks great to me. Maybe run with that and once it gets around people are more likely to think of possible improvements. Thanks for Toucan : )

Have you ever considered making a Toucan that is embed into program files with associations and everything? That would be awesome!
