Extentions for Firefox Portable 3.0.4

Hello,

Im new here, after comming upon this site I decided to download and install Firefox Portable 3.0.4 directly onto my USB U3 drive since U3 only has a outdated version of FF and well after installing I came upon the problem I cannot download any ad-ons for firefox the list includes

Finjan Secure Browising
WOT (web of trust)
NoScript
Ad-block pluss
and ForeCast Fox

and alot of others, is there any workaround for this? I work alot off of my flash drive and am really hoping to get these ad-ons to work soon.

thank you

-Justin

Don't know about a U3 device

Don't know about a U3 device but on my generic USB stick portableApps and Firefox 3.0.4 play nice with AdBlockPlus and with GreaseMonkey and Firebug. Downloads were without problems and they work as I've come to expect them to do on my Apple Mac.

All Work

Those all work fine from my device. Where did you install Firefox Portable to directory-wise? And how are you installing? Firefox can be buggy installing extensions sometimes when cache is disabled. The workaround is to download the extension locally and then add it in:

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

are you running the U3

are you running the U3 platform on this drive because that very well could be your problem and I would suggest converting to the PortableApps Platform.
