i want to know if i cud burn this app along with other xvid files to a dvd, then cud it be able to play files
i have previously known to a bootable linux media player which boots on any comp n seconds and plays most formats, if anybody cud suggest such a distro tat wud be gr8 help too

but that was entirely different approach to run a program, wat if user is running linux on his system, then it wud probably fails, i want a live linux cd which is for sole purpose for displaying vdos, i shud start workin on later this year, i think it wud be goin' to an interesting project if it doesn't exist till now
Can't you customise a bootable linux?
I'm sure you can boot into it, make changes and then generate a new ISO and burn that with the new changes. Hunt around the net.
