in what way, like a gradient or merging layers?

say i have 1 pic of something that i want to use as a background, then i want to put a nother pic (let's say of a person) on top of that pic...how exactly would one go about doing that...OK>....u have 2 pics and you want to take a person in one of the pics and put it into a background of somethin like buildings or somethin....how would u get the person from the other pic cut out in a precise manner that looks presentable to put it into the background pic or what ever that background would be...(hope that makes any sense....no doubt it won't coming from MMT lol...;))ANY HELP AT ALL WOULD BE NICE....THX

you can right click on the layer and select merge down. But you'll have to manually cleanup all of the crap.
