Hey there,
I haven't used Regshot before so I was wondering if you could give a little input on the results it gave me after comparing before and after use of Evernote 3 Portable. I do see some instances of Evernote in the output file but I'm not sure if these are essential...

The only keys you need to worry about are
The other ones arent that important as They shouldnt leave any personal data behind. Its just keys windows will create so it might change from computer to computer, I think....
From the following keys mentioned above in this comment... If the
is the main key, and
, are sub keys within the main key, then when you write your NSIS script just include the main key, not the sub keys cause it automatically will save the sub keys with the main one if you are righting them to a .reg file, which is most likely what you are doing... Hope this helps a little bit, reply to this if you dont understand or know what I am talking about.

Well, the portable version is not really mine - it's Evernote's portable version, I was just wanting to see how portable it really is. I guess not that portable.
NB: For everyone who might stumble upon this post by searching for Evernote portable - just go to their website, download the software, install it and then from within the installed one you can create a portable one. That is as of version 3.0.
But again it seems it is not very portable. I tested it on a clean computer that never had any instances of Evernote on it.
To you Nathan - with your permission I will send this thread to the guys at Evernote to take a look at it and see if they can fix the portability issue.
Thats fine with me... Hopefully they will fix it because portability means not leaving personal or program data on a host machine. So maybe request it be written to an .ini file instead in the same directory as the executable.
