Hi, I've searched for a while to find the answer to this one and pressed the button but its use is not really clear. On the sync screen it's the button between the two windows and also on the right of the right hand frame. It looks like a magnifying glass over a folder which would suggest a search. When I press it, the filenames in the window to the left of the button disappear and the scroll bar 'thing' shoots wildly up and down. I've never waited longer than about 20 seconds before I lost courage and halted the process. What is it for? (sorry if this is a dumb question)
No such thing as a stupid question. If you think about it would only be foolish to not seek knowledge for the fear of being perceived as not having any. Anyway putting the grasshopper talk aside I think the button you are refering to is open all the subfolders of the folder you have selected. I am guessing you are using it on a root/base folder such as portableapps or documents. Try it with a folder a folder that only has a couple subfolders and files in it added and see what happens.
Good luck

exactly right, and yes, it does look a bit of a mess, it will look a bit neater in the next release I think, less wild scrollbar moving!
