extensions don't shpw up

I copied my firefox profile to portable firefox and now i cannot get any of the extensions to work when i load portable firefox on my jumpdrive. i can, however, get everything to work if i copy the whole portable firefox folder to a harddrive and run the program from there. on the umpdrive, firefox either doesn't open or opens with no extensions usable. does anyone have any suggestions or must i copy portablefirefox to and from a computer each time i use it? could it be my jumpdrive? it's only 64mb and kind of old. i don't think that should be an issue though. thanks

Portable Firefox's directory

Portable Firefox's directory structure is a bit different from regular Fx. The profile for PFx must be inside \Data\profile\. You can't just copy the files from regular Fx's folder to \App\. I'm actually not too familiar with regular Fx's structure because I haven't really used it, but others around here know how to synchronize the two.

You put what where?

You put what where?

I forgot to mention - you MUST use PortableFirefox.exe, NOT firefox.exe.

i have everything in the right place. if i copy the entire portablefirefox folder to my desktop, for example, and use portablefirefox, everything works perfectly. the issue is that if i use portablefirefox properly (correct exe file and profile in the correct location), portablefirefox either stalls or loads without any of my extensions (but with my other browser/gui adjustments in place).

If you're using the ini,

If you're using the ini, make sure SkipChromeFix and SkipCompregFix are both set to false when the drive letter changes. Wink
