[Fixed] Error in size bar

I recently bought a new flash drive. It's a SanDisk Cruzer 8gig. It works great I've always liked SanDisk but I have noticed one problem with it. For some odd reason the size bar at the bottom of the PAM says bleh out of 7gigs. I'm kinda wondering why my flash drive is showing up as 7gigs rather than 8. Probably just a minor bug to be fixed in next release probably.

I know exactly your issue, i

I know exactly your issue, i have the same drive, and it's the formatting, a driver formatted is never what the seller claims it to be, my 8 gig sandisk is 7.1 gig or something of that sort. It might also be less if you have u3 on it, not a PAM bug

Yeah I know what you mean...

I left it on the default FAT32. I've noticed this before right clicking on the properties shows it as 7.47gigs. But usually PAM shows the label's size. Maybe PAM should round up to the nearest size?

looking at mine it says 7 gig

looking at mine it says 7 gig too, and yes i also have 7.49, i guess PAM rounds down,or can't handle anything over 7 gig, but i suspect it's something to do with the formatting. If it is PAM, i would prefer it round do, so it feels like you have more space, then if you rounded up, it would appear to be less.

Confirmed

This is a confirmed bug in 1.1. It tries to round to the nearest whole digit, mistakenly. This will be fixed in the 1.2 bugfix release and the 2.0 alpha.

2 decimal places would be

2 decimal places would be great, 7.49 , but i would be happy with 7.5 as well, depending on the work involved.

The problem with rounding up too much, or using the manufacturer's label is that you might think you have more than you do Shock

screen real estate

the issue is more about screen real estate and ensuring that "x free of y" show up properly to max decimals even with large fonts on
