Hey,
I noticed my portable firefox keeps wiping all cookies on exit. And its pretty annoying...
I'm using Portable firefox on my Main PC, so there is no need to wipe all cookies every time.
I already set disk cache size bigger, but that didnt help :/
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks
Why are you using Portable Firefox on your main machine and not a fully installed copy of Firefox? Perhaps understanding your reasoning may help us help you.
The portable version is doing exactly what it is intended to do; remove as many traces as possible that it was run on a machine, including not leaving cookies.
Well, because i reinstall my windows a lot, and have multi-boot and such, and i just copy it to other network computers...
I like having firefox, and its settings all in one folder, instead of spread out around my c: drive.
But still, why would anyone care about cookies, as long as they are placed inside the Portable Firefox folder, no traces are left when using it from a USB stick

Everything is already unchecked...
Still doesn't help
After trying a lot of stuff, i found out how to fix this
If anyone else wants to save their cookies: goto FirefoxPortable\Data\profile And delete the file called "cookies.sqlite"
Next time you start (Portable) firefox, a new cookies.sqlite will be created that doesn't delete all cookies every time
Must have been a corrupted file, so changes weren't really saved. Deleting it allowed recreation and a clean start.
