Ok so i was using portable version 2 for a long time, and now i decided it was time to use firefox portable 3.
What i want is to select specific plugins i was using on the previous versions and import them on the new version while retaining their settings most importantly.

What you should do is first make sure you have the latest versions of all your plugins in FFP2 to make sure they are updated to versions that will work with FF3.
Of course you would want to uninstall all the addons you don't want and the ones you may find can't be made compatible with FF3.
Then install FFP3 directly over FFP2, this will update FF and keep all the settings you had before.
You might want to try this on a Copy of your existing FFP2 in case you find any problems.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
Unfortunately that wont be an option. My ff2 is a mess. I used it as a lab rat and installed like more than a 100 plugins and have thousand of bookmarks so that's that. I only wanted to transfer like my most valuable addons with their respected settings on ff3 so that i wouldnt have to do it from scratch, but if there's no other way then i guess tough luck.
