I have an old flash drive that only has the portable versions of Firefox and Pidgin running on it, nothing else. It is incredibly slow. Are there some flash drives that are faster than others? What do I need to look for when shopping for faster drives?

There is faster flash drives available on the market, but they are exponentially more expensive than the average flash drive, like the Corsair Voyager.
Or if you want something fast and somewhat bigger, go with a 2.5" external hard drive.
