Looking for a DVD ripper.

I'm looking for a good easy to use DVD Ripper. I don't really care if it's OSS or not I just need a free one. The prefered format would be for the Ipod/Zune format (mp4). Or at least have the ability of it being a convertable format. If anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it. I've tried HandBrake before on both XP and Vista. It doesn't seem to be able to get rid of the protection on the DVD so it fails :(. Any help you can give me would be appreciated!

DVD Decrypter does a nice job

DVD Decrypter does a nice job of getting rid of the protection. You can then use Handbrake or whatever to convert to your preferred format. DVD Decrypter doesn't really have a home, though, so you'll have to use Google.

Vintage!

You could use DVDFab's Free

You could use DVDFab's Free decryptor. Then use DVD Shrink to burn the movie files to disk. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of new movies that DVD Decryptor wont do as it isn't updated anymore. Please correct if wrong.
